A selection of Panicum virgatum, it blooms in late summer with airy sprays of red flowers. As summer progresses, it develops showy burgundy-red foliage that intensifies by fall. A very easy-to-grow perennial, it thrives in a wide range of soil types and moisture levels. It’s an excellent selection for use in a rain garden too.
